Why do I spend money when it is in my purse?

Last week I went out to eat with some friends and took enough money to make sure I had enough. I ended up with $15 left over which I left in my purse. I have noticed in the last week that it has been easy to spend that when it is in my purse. If I don't have it in my purse I don't spend it. Why is that? It just seems that because the money is in my purse, I can buy all kinds of things because I have extra money in my purse. Does that make sense? Why can I deny myself when I don't have extra money and not deny myself when I do? I am a great saver as long as I don't carry extra money in my purse.

One more day until the start of the X-games. I am excited about watching that. But why do they have it on so late at night? It does not start until 9:00.

Tonight I want to watch the President's speech. He is to talk on more support for people who care for elderly parents. That's me. So I am interested in hearing what kind of support that might be.

  1. It's on at 9 because young people watch it, and that is not late for them.

By the way, wasn't the President's speech at 9 too??? I see a pattern.
