Are there really financial issues in the US?

Now there is a controvercial question. I still find it hard to believe at times that the people in the US are struggling to survive. Not because I have been to countries that I have seen first hand people struggling to survive. But because I have see people spend their money on things that still don't lead me to believe they are really struggling.

I do believe people are still depending too much on credit cards. But I see way too many cars at restaurants. I see way too many electronics being purchased. And strange things people spend their money on.

Was looking on Ebay last night and there are still scrapbook pages going for over $90. Those people certainly have money.

  1. Hey! I've been meaning to ask you...what is your username on Ebay? I wanted to see what you have up for sale. (If you have anything for sale!) :o)

However I do not have anything up for sale. Garage sales will be starting in another month or so. Maybe when I go out west next month I can find some stuff. But keep checking.

  3. I see both sides, people hurting and people just living life as usual. I see long lines at the food bank where my foster daughter volunteers. I also see where a church of around 4000 can in one week bring in 12,000 pounds of food for that same food bank. I also see where there is a job posted for a three month time period and seasonal at that, there is a lot of very qualified people who want it. Those people say they don't care what they do, they just need a job. I'd say, if you have a job right now be happy and thankful but save for a time where you might find yourself out. Better yet come to Arizona and help me. I have three girls now.
