Fiasco #2
Last night at 9PM mom asks if dad is taking his medicine? I hear him in the kitchen and it sounds like he is trying to get the backing off the Benedryl. So I tell her yes. At 3 in the morning both of them are up. Dad has a bad headache and mom is having a low sugar attack. Dad takes his pressure and it is 223/119. Mom sits at the table to try and figure out why it is so high and she sees 4 pills on the table. It appears he got the pills ready but never took them. Thus, the high pressure. This is the 2nd time in a month that he has left them on the table and not taken them. So I need to be more diligent to make sure he takes the medicine.

ReplyDeleteI make sure Britt takes his medicine by actually giving it to him with the water so he doesn't have to put it down to take it. But then you could do what I do for the girls who live in my house. I give them the medicine and the water and then after they take it I make them open their mouth, lift their tongue and then run their fingures through the space between their teeth and gums. There'd be no fiascos this way!
