What to do, your opinion counts
There is a meeting at my chruch tomorrow to discuss the finances and where the chruch is going. I do not know if I should go or not. I know that if I go, it will get my German blood running. But on the other hand I would like to know what is happening. You see I get all wound up when it comes to the chruch. Mainly because I have ministry in my blood and I know the workings of the chruch better than my back hand. I am afraid if I go I will say something I will regret. So what should I do go or not go?

>>> you should go. i don't know really why but i think you must attend the meeting . <<<
ReplyDeletei think that it will drive you nuts if you dont go (mind games on what is goin on and so on) BUT its not what you say ...its how you present that "saying"....if you need to say something just make yourself say it in a way that people will understand its coming from your knowledge and heart :)
ReplyDeletedont know if that made sense but it did in my heaad....good luck!!! (im tired...)
btw...its about time you post on your blog..ive been checking everyday to see if you have any comments on the olympics...i expected commentary every night...but nothing :( LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm going, but duct taping my mouth shut. I'll share
ReplyDeleteSorry I didn't make the deadline on this question but I was watching the Olympics and then forgot. I don't have an answer for you only questions that might help you decide, if it's not already too late. What's the worst thing that could happen if you don't go? Can you live with that happening if you didn't do anything to try to stop it. What's the worst thing that could happen if you did go? Are you willing to live with going and trying to make a contribution but being overruled, shut down etc...?
ReplyDeleteI think it really depends on what you are risking by going... If it were going to cost something that you are not willing to pay, then don't go. Other idea's I have is
1. Go and just pray the whole time for the outcome but tape your mouth shut like Red Head said
2. Go and test the waters for receptability for your ideas and speak if you feel the freedom
Good luck no matter what
GOOOOOOOOO and give them the truth

ReplyDeleteHi Donalynn. I'm sorry that the information you received regarding the church meeting on Thursday wasn't correct. It would have been great to see you there and get the information first hand. I sent you a message on facebook. Would love to talk to you about it, hopefully on Sunday.
